The property itself is 30 acres of fabulous country with a 7 acre vineyard, approximately 5 acres of almost level grass, combined with rose gardens edging a walking path, complete with rotunda and country dam. Chickens, geese guinea fowl, ducks, Cockatoos, corellas, parrots and many more birds abound and add that real country feel, yet you are only a bird’s call from all the Hunter has to offer! Most of all you will notice the peace and quiet of the Lovedale area, you instantly slow down from your busy schedule and start to "smell the roses"! Peace and quiet! The cottages also contain original artworks from resident artist Megan Barrass, they add colour and life and happiness! There is a bright and colourful art gallery located in the new cellar door. They are fully air conditioned and have a cozy log fire for great winter warmth and atmosphere. They have a wide veranda on ground level that is fully covered and protected from the West sun and winds, perfect for an afternoon BBQ (gas bbq provided).
