At Madigan you will find six unique, self contained, cottages to relax and enjoy. Each cottage has been designed to appreciate the views across fields. The cottages are contemporary in style, and have interiors that take their inspiration from the country setting and have been created with its instinctive environment in mind. As twilight approaches, many animals become active, and your sure to see possums, kangaroos and rabbits. Whether you’re after a romantic weekend away, an escape with friends or catching one of the concerts Hunter Valley is now famous for, Madigan has a cottage to suit. An outdoor setting with gas BBQ for each cottage enhances the relaxed ambiance. Initially built as the manager’s quarters, Australian is a huge cottage for a family or insignificant group. The cottage comfortably sleeps eight people, but if required there’s room in the loft for a roll away bed. Perhaps the main feature of Australian is the six person spa. What could be better than relaxing in the spa with family or friends while taking in the view over the countryside. Cellar Door is a favorite with couples wanting to make the most of their stay. The Barn was never actually a barn, it was simply styled on a barn. Sitting on the veranda cooking a BBQ and watching the sun go down over the fields is a perfect way to discard a late afternoon. Kookaburra is outrageous for a couple, or even a small family or friends. Apart from the Queen sized bedroom, two single bed bedrooms, a self contained kitchen, and a cony lounge, this cottage features a bathroom with a two person spa. Perhaps the most current cottage, Settlers is charming and cony, for up to six people comfortably. The patio facing the fields has an outdoor setting and BBQ accurate for watching our spectacular sunsets. Originally built as the owner’s house, Homestead is for the large groups and families. Three queen sized rooms and two rooms with two singles. The super large kitchen dining is a immense place to eat and drink together, but for relaxing there’s either the separated lounge room or the pool table room. The flawless location for a family or group to relax and celebrate.
